“Solo Faith” không phải là một thương hiệu. Đó là một lời tuyên xưng thần học — và hiểu được ý nghĩa của nó sẽ giải thích mọi điều về cách Hội Thánh này hoạt động, rao giảng điều gì, và vì sao được thành lập tại Concord NC.

Cội rễ của sola fide trong thời Cải Chánh

“Solo Faith” là cách nói tiếng Anh của cụm từ La-tinh “sola fide”, một trong năm “duy nhất” đã định hình cuộc Cải Chánh Tin Lành vào thế kỷ 16. Sola fide nghĩa là “chỉ bởi đức tin”: niềm tin rằng con người được xưng công bình trước mặt Đức Chúa Trời chỉ bởi đức tin nơi Đức Chúa Jesús Christ, chứ không bởi việc làm, nghi thức tôn giáo, tư cách hội viên hay thành tích đạo đức. Giáo lý này nằm ở trung tâm của Cơ Đốc giáo Tin Lành và Cải Cách.

Solo Faith Church được thành lập tại Concord NC vì quận Cabarrus có nhiều nhu cầu thuộc linh và vật chất chưa được đáp ứng.
