Solo Faith Church Mission, Vision & Values

Mission Statement:

Solo Faith Church is dedicated to discipling the community for Christ and serving those in need. Our mission is to feed the hungry, support local small businesses through marketing assistance, provide job training programs, and conduct leadership and entrepreneurial workshops, all as part of our commitment to empower the community in faith and love.

Ministry and Program Highlights

Solo Faith Church actively serves the community through a variety of ministries and initiatives. Our key programs and outreach efforts include:

  • Online Food Pantry & Delivery Service: Solo Faith Church operates North Carolina’s first Online Food Pantry, providing immediate, dignified access to groceries for families in need through a seamless digital request-and-delivery system. This program allows us to feed the hungry consistently and efficiently while expanding our outreach to households who may never step into a traditional food line. We charge a $10 delivery fee for shipping, but we fundraise to obtain credits for those who don't have the payment.

  • Digital Marketing Services for Small Businesses: Providing marketing support and training to local entrepreneurs and small businesses, helping them build a strong digital presence. By empowering local businesses to thrive, we strengthen the economic foundation of the community.

  • Job Training Initiatives: Offering vocational training and career development programs for unemployed or underemployed individuals. These initiatives equip community members with practical job skills and mentorship, enabling them to secure meaningful employment and improve their livelihoods.

  • Entrepreneurial and Leadership Workshops: Hosting workshops and seminars that develop leadership skills and entrepreneurial know-how. We mentor emerging leaders and aspiring business owners, fostering innovation, confidence, and self-sufficiency among participants.

  • Discipleship Training for Spiritual Growth: Conducting faith-based discipleship classes, Bible studies, and mentorship programs to nurture spiritual growth. Through these efforts, we guide individuals in deepening their faith, building strong moral character, and becoming positive influencers in their families and communities.

Together, these mission, vision, and values guide Solo Faith Church in every endeavor. We remain focused on long-term sustainability, empowerment, and community as we work to disciple, develop, and uplift the community. By partnering with donors, volunteers, small businesses and community members, Solo Faith Church strives to create a lasting legacy of hope, opportunity, and spiritual growth for generations to come.

A Polycarpian Statement of Faith

We, the fellowship of Solo Faith Church, stand upon the Scriptures as the living Word of God. We believe that true faith is not sustained by tradition or human invention, but by hearing the Word, and walking in obedience to what God has revealed (Romans 10:17).

We choose relationship with Christ over religiosity, conviction over convention, and obedience over adaptation to culture or custom.

1. The Authority of Scripture

We affirm that the Holy Scriptures are sufficient and authoritative for faith, doctrine, and godly living.

We do not build worship upon words, concepts, or practices that do not appear in Scripture, nor upon traditions introduced after the time of the apostles. For as Polycarp once stood firm, we also say:

“We follow what Christ and His apostles delivered not what later men added.”

2. The Nature of God

We believe in the one God of Israel, revealed through His Word, the Father who created all things, who spoke through the prophets, and who has made Himself known through His Son, Jesus the Messiah.

We do not seek to define God with philosophical terms or titles not found in Scripture, but rather we confess Him as He has revealed Himself to us by His Word.

“We affirm the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit as revealed in Scripture, and we confess Jesus as fully divine and eternally one with God, we prefer to express our faith using biblical language only, rather than post-biblical terminology.”

3. Jesus the Messiah

We believe that Jesus is:

  • The promised Messiah

  • Born according to prophecy

  • The Word made flesh, God manifest in the flesh

  • The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world

He lived, died, rose again on the third day, and now reigns at the right hand of God. He is our High Priest, our Shepherd, and our soon-coming King.

Our devotion is not to a season, a symbolic festival, or a later church tradition, but to Christ Himself as revealed in the Word.

4. Salvation by Grace Through Faith

We believe we are saved:

  • by grace

  • through faith

  • unto obedience and transformed living

This salvation produces relationship, not empty ritual. We do not measure righteousness by the observances of men, but by faith working through love and obedience to God’s Word.

5. Worship According to the Apostolic Pattern

Like Polycarp — Disciple of the Apostle John — we honor Christ through the biblical feasts, not from legalism or as empty ceremonies, but as Christ-centered remembrances that reveal:

  • His sacrifice

  • His resurrection

  • His redemptive work

  • His coming kingdom

We do not replace what God has established in His word, with traditions of the modern church.

We do not condemn others, but we remain steadfast in the pattern delivered to the saints before us.

6. The People of God

We believe in a community built not on institutional power, but on:

  • love

  • humility

  • accountability

  • discipleship

  • shared spiritual life

The church is not sustained by titles, hierarchy, or religious show, but by brothers and sisters walking together in Christ.

7. The Return of Christ

We believe Jesus will return, judge the living and the dead, restore all things, and establish His Kingdom. Therefore, we walk in holiness, hope, and faithfulness until that day.

Our Quartodeciman-Aligned Confession

And if we are ever pressed to abandon what we have received from Scripture in exchange for the customs of men, we answer as the faithful before us:

“We do not add to the Word of God, nor do we remove from it.
What we have learned from the apostles, we hold fast.
We worship Christ not according to invention
but according to the truth delivered once for all.”

This is our confession.
This is our faith.
This is our fellowship in Christ.

Solo Faith Church

Ministry Covenant

Preamble

In the spirit of the early believers  and with the conviction of those, like Polycarp, who held fast to what was delivered by the apostles I enter this covenant not as a religious obligation, but as a commitment of relationship, faith, and obedience to the Word of God.

As a minister of Solo Faith Church, I joyfully commit to:

1. Walk in Relationship with Christ
I will pursue a living and obedient relationship with Jesus the Messiah, grounding my faith in the Scriptures and allowing the Word of God to shape my life, character, and decisions.

2. Honor Scripture Above Tradition
I agree that our faith and practice are rooted in what is written in Scripture, and I will support worship, teaching, and doctrine that align with the Word rather than human customs or later traditions.

3. Participate in a Christ-Centered Community
I will walk in love, humility, unity, and accountability with my church family, seeking reconciliation, encouragement, and spiritual growth alongside my brothers and sisters in Christ.

4. Live Out Faith Through Obedience and Service
I will use my gifts, time, and life to serve Christ, support the mission of Solo Faith Church, and help strengthen the body through discipleship, fellowship, and ministry.

5. Worship in the Pattern Passed Down by the Apostles
I affirm our commitment to honoring Christ through the biblical feasts as Christ-centered expressions of remembrance and faith, following the example preserved from the earliest believers.

6. Support the Mission and Witness of the Church
I will pray for the leadership and members of this fellowship, support the church through generosity and participation, and live as a witness of Christ’s Kingdom in my daily life.

7. Persevere in Hope Until Christ Returns
I will live in faith and expectation of the return of Jesus the Messiah, seeking to walk faithfully until the day He restores all things.

Covenant Affirmation

“What we have received from the Word of God, we hold fast.
We worship Christ according to truth,
walk together in love,
and remain faithful until His appearing.”

By God’s grace, I commit myself to this fellowship, this calling, and this covenant of faith.
