About
Faith & America is a free, self-paced American religious history course that traces how faith traditions have shaped the United States from the first colonial settlements to the present day. Across six modules and twelve lessons, you'll follow the Puritans and religious dissenters of the colonies, the Great Awakenings, revival and reform in the nineteenth century, waves of immigration and new religious voices, the fundamentalist and modernist debates of the early twentieth century, and the role of faith in the Civil Rights Movement and today's pluralistic nation. Each lesson is written in plain, story-driven language, pairs with a short quiz, and connects historical events to enduring questions about belief, community, justice, and identity. Completely free. A community education ministry of Solo Faith Church in Concord, North Carolina.
