Concord NC church near me-God is good
I wanted to share something I have been rereading Genesis just so that I can get more clarity and actually study the word
Most may know, the story of Joseph and how his brother sold him into slavery and all he had to suffer through and as I was studying, I came across this little quote on how it’s important for us to “View our trials through God’s purposes pain often positions you for a greater calling”
Sometimes the situation and the things that we’re going through often leaves us feeling neglected, and they can often feel very painful and Joseph went through a very painful situation with his brothers and then to be put in prison for years. He really endured some painful suffering.
But the fact that even through all of that, instead of doing the same thing to his brothers that he could’ve done once he got into power, he realized that his trials was through God’s plan and through God’s purpose and so he had to learn to walk with God and not behind him so instead of throwing his brothers into slavery into which he could’ve done and leaving them there or killing them for all they made him endure. He took a step back and said to his brothers don’t even feel guilty because this was God‘s plan all along so that when everything happened, which for them was the famine, God was able to deliver them through Joseph.
So for everyone feeling like they are going through painful sufferings or that life is falling apart remember that sometimes painful trials puts us in a position for greater elevation.
